In this HSK 4 level reading practice you will learn some Chinese conversational phrases about going to the gym. Although going to the gym is more popular in western culture - the U.S. has about 10 times the gym members of China - you will still find gym goers in every major Chinese city. When I lived in Shanghai the school gym was usually quite empty, but that is not the case for commercial gyms. Read on to practice your HSK 4 level Chinese.
By the time you reach HSK 4 you should be able to read many short stories. At the end of these practice sentences we have a link to the full lesson which you can try out for free! If you want to really bring your reading to the next level, try out the Du Chinese app.
When reading these practice phrases try the following study method:
What do you usually do at the gym?
I like to run on the treadmill, and then use training equipment to exercise my pecs and abs.
I also want to work out, but I don’t like to use training equipment. I think it’s boring. I like exercise where you have music and can dance.
