Chatting about friends – HSK 1 Reading Practice

In this HSK 1 reading practice you'll get a chance to apply the characters you've learned in real sentences. When you first start to learn Chinese it's easy to get caught up in just memorizing characters. Flashcards are great and we definitely recommend using them! However, the point of memorizing characters is to actually read real Chinese sentences, stories, text messages, etc.

Suggestion for study:

  • Play the audio and follow along with the reader

  • Hover over words to see English translations

  • Repeat until you can read on your own
